Airstream Argosy For Sale

Up for sale is my classic, all original 28′ Argosy motorhome. Same wonderful aluminum construction as the Airstream travel trailers but painted with a classy cream and navy blue enamel. This is a center twin with rear bath and all systems are functional; propane hot water heater is new; propane forced air furnace; 4 burner propane cook top with oven; 14,000 BTU roof A/C; larger Dometic propane/electric fridge; 50 gallon fresh water and separate gray and black water tanks. It has the classic vista liner windows in the roof and a large awning. There is a compartment for a generator but it does not currently have the generator option.

Mechanically this coach is ready to go anywhere. I just drove it down from Idaho towing a Mitsubishi Montero and averaged over 10 miles per gallon. The dependable old Argosy performed flawlessly. I will deliver it anywhere in the US, if requested, for a fee, fuel and a plane ticket back. The coach rides on a Chevrolet Workhorse chassis and is powered by a new (not rebuilt) 454 gas engine with only about 7000 miles on it. The chassis has 108,539 total miles. The tires are nearly new and brakes have been inspected and are over 50%.
