Airstream Ambassador For Sale

We have a 28ft ambassador that is a good fit for a restoration project. The main problem is the common rear bath sag. We recently towed this airstream to New Mexico and back this last summer. It has new tires, working brakes, lights and is towable. This airstream is probably best suited for a frame up restoration and has many intact items that make it a great project trailer.

• All or most of the original airstream green bins.
• Exterior Aluminum is in good shape (not major dents, or cracks
• Original Stovetop and oven (missing fridge)
• Interior fiberglass bath fixtures and front wall pieces in good condition, ready to be refinished
• All original cabinetry (for templates) as some have separated and been painted
• Original light fixtures (still work)

Major Items that will need to be replaced or restored are..

• Original suburban furnace is broken
• Original windows have been previously replaced with plexiglass (poor job)
• Original refrigerator is missing
• Floor is dry-rotted

!! This airstream has rear frame damage that looks significant, I am not sure of the condition of the rest of the frame and the extent of the repairs !!

This is a great restoration project and a classic looking airstream with the rare flush style window frames. The price reflects what would be expected of a airstream in this condition. Will look great restored and shined up!
